Internship Opporuntities
Are you motivated and passionate about agriculture? We’re looking for interns to join our Service and Precision Farming Departments, where you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside our team. At Arnold’s, all internships are paid, and we also offer scholarship opportunities. Since 2013, 59 interns have been hired into full time positions, many of which are still employed today. Kimball
- Sell the company's products and services by calling on customers, building customer relationships and developing trust for long-term customer retention
- Manage assigned sales territory
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of equipment and have the ability to determine the value of used trade-in equipment
- Assure all documents associated with sales are properly completed
- Keep current daily on sales-related information, terms, dates, etc. including:
- Changes to manufacturer's terms, discounts and special programs, sales, deliveries, valuation and new equipment arrival
- Product knowledge and benefits of specific machines
- Competitive activity and competitive products
- All factory finance plans
- Stay knowledgeable of major service work being done on customer's equipment to use the opportunity to provide upgrades
- Attend sales department meetings and company functions
Willmar
- Provide excellent customer service. We want you to be the “go to” person who knows how to quickly find the right part for every job.
- Face to face and on the phone communication with customers maintaining a respectful and positive attitude
- Provide effective communication to customers regarding their parts needs
- Assist our service technicians in obtaining parts for their jobs
- Work closely with customers to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to their parts orders.
- Receipting in of parts and responsible for putting away and pricing parts
- Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining all department tools, equipment and department clean and orderly
- Follow up call with customers regarding any parts specials
- Adapting to more responsibilities as they present themselves
- Perform service tasks in a professional manner as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and service equipment.
- Inspection and preventative services (fluids, lubricants, safety items, batteries, brakes, steering components, generators, starters, water and fuel pumps, etc.).
- Perform engine and fuel system diagnostics and repairs, replacing items as necessary.
- Perform hydraulic and electrical system trouble shooting and repair.
- Maintain knowledge of changes in models of equipment sold and serviced by the company.
- Prepare proper documentation of repair work and time management for billing purposes.
- Practice and enforce company safety policies at all times in support of the company-wide accident prevention program.
- Accurately open all repair tickets in a timely manner.
- Estimate warranty repair orders.
- Review work orders with service manager prior to closing.
- Responsible for accurately documenting and closing out all work tickets in a timely manner.
- Assist service manager and assistant service manager as needed.
- Work harmoniously with the other dealership departments.
- Maintain filing and storage system for warranty parts so any warranty necessary for return is on hand.
- Promote all Arnold Companies’ special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, etc.
- Know and understand all department policies and procedures.
- Review and be familiar with employee policy handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Glencoe
- Perform service tasks in a professional manner as assigned by the Service Manager.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and service equipment.
- Inspection and preventative services (fluids, lubricants, safety items, batteries, brakes, steering components, generators, starters, water and fuel pumps, etc.).
- Perform engine and fuel system diagnostics and repairs, replacing items as necessary.
- Perform hydraulic and electrical system trouble shooting and repair.
- Maintain knowledge of changes in models of equipment sold and serviced by the company.

*Wash & detail equipment as directed by Service Manager.
*Maintain facility cleanliness & equipment.
*Move equipment in and out of wash bay safely.
St. Martin
- Ability to manage people in a professional manner and maintain efficiency in the service department.
